Your Success

Posted by admin in Success Strategies

Success starts in your mind.

Positive Thinking creates the advantage.

Success comes with a good mood.

Listen to your most preferred CD before an important meeting.

Success is increased with a little attention.

Give others something maybe a nice gesture is enough.

Success comes when your body is healthy.

Body and soul are inseparable.

Success comes with partnership.

Show this others by thinking for them.

Success is also a question of your outlook.

Do not leave it up to coincidence; instead plan carefully from head to toe.

Success is determinant with your security.

Everyone wants to be on the side of the winner.

Success is ruled by your target.

Set yourself realistic but always higher goals then demanded.

Success is a question of stamina.

Stay in the court! Hang in there! (Even when things seem to drift away)

Success is based on systematic work.

Without engagement no success.

Success is predetermined.

Train over and over again all possible situations.

Success is a state of your mind.

Check and if necessary change your old attitude towards others and situations.

Success is also the success of others.

It is no secret how they are successful! Watch them and let them teach you.

Success is the opposite of failure.

Delete the possibility of failure from your mind, since you are successful only.

Who Controls Your Life?

Posted by admin in Success Strategies

You’re probably reading this because you have an interest in improving some aspect of your life. The good news is that there are many simple things you can do to improve your experience of life and will cover many of them in the articles on this site.

To begin, I’d like to ask, “Who is going to have the biggest effect on your future life?”

Many of us would answer that it’s our spouse, our children, or the government. Others might say it’s the trials and tribulations of their everyday lives; the driver who cuts them up on the way to work; the queue in the supermarket on Saturday afternoons; or the fact that someone let them down with a delivery. All of these examples pass responsibility for our mood, thoughts and experience of life to other people or external factors over which we have no direct control. From this standpoint, we live our lives reactively moving from one crisis to another, waiting patiently for the day when these external ‘diversions’ settle down. When that day dawns - we tell ourselves - then finally we’ll be able to turn things around!

Put in these simple terms we can see how this attitude would seem to lead to a poorer experience of life. However, for many of us it’s our chosen norm and it suits us just fine. Whilst it may not always be obvious what the ‘payback’ is for continuing with this way of thinking and behaving, there MUST be one, or else we would simply not continue with it. The payback could be as straightforward as the fact that operating in this way brings us extra attention, or gives us something to have a good old moan about! By far the biggest ‘benefit’ of this attitude is that it ensures that there’s always somebody else to blame - and that feels good!

In sharp contrast, there is a different way of operating in the world that, if we choose it, allows us to exercise control over our lives. It involves totally accepting personal responsibility for the life we are living.

Taking personal responsibility for our own life can be very scary at first. After all, if we’re going to give up blaming everybody else, does that mean we have to take the blame ourselves? Not at all! The ultimate way for most of us to begin making significant and enduring improvements to our lives is to abandon the concept of ‘blame’ completely, and in its place to embrace the concept of ‘responsibility’ . Where appointing ‘blame’ depends on us making (often damning) judgements, accepting ‘responsibility’ requires us to have a mature grasp of the realities of life. We’ll wait a very long time for a perfect world to emerge. We might as well make a start on dealing with the imperfect one that we’re all currently inhabiting.

So what exactly does taking personal responsibility mean? Personally I think it boils down to recognising that ultimately the only absolute control we have in our lives is over how we choose to react to what happens to us. It is in these moments between stimulus and response that we as humans can exercise a choice. Do we react consciously and thoughtfully, to bring us closer to the result we seek, or do we react subconsciously and as our prior conditioning programs us to - excusing ourselves along the way with one of our favourite platitudes. Take your pick - we all have them in abundant supply! I can’t help it! That’s just me! It’s how I am! I can’t do anything about it! I can’t change it! In reality, of course, there are very few ‘givens’ in this life to which we are truly tied.

The lives we are living today are a direct consequence of the decisions and choices we have made up to this point in time. We will create our future in the same way, whether we choose to recognise our role in this or not. Once we accept this fundamental truth, we will begin to see that it’s in our moments of decision (or indecision) that we create our own experience of life.

Choosing to take responsibility for our own lives and creating the future we want is an amazingly empowering experience. We no longer feel the need to control everyone else (not that we ever could of course) but instead aim only to assert control over ourselves. This absolute control can be subdivided. We actually have control over three things, but only three things - our own thoughts, our own feelings, and our own behaviour. It follows, therefore, that we carry responsibility for three things and only three things - our own thoughts, our own feelings and our own behaviour. Trying to control any more than this is futile. Accepting responsibility for anything more than this is misguided. So if all we need to do is be in control of ourselves - and most of us emerge into adulthood with reasonable skills in this area - then we are already equipped with all the basic tools we need to build the lives we want.

If you feel ready to make a start, you could begin with the following pointers:-

1. As already outlined, the first essential step is to truly decide to accept total responsibility for our own life and commit to this decision. You must be ready to be proactive in creating the life you want and to recognise that you have the power to choose how you react to any situation.

2. To help consolidate this new way of thinking and make it habitual, practise recognising when others around you are not taking full responsibility for their own lives, and more importantly, when you yourself are not taking full responsibility for yours!

3. To undermine any unhelpful prior conditioning, you can practise interrupting any negative thoughts (usually rattling around in our heads in the form of negative ’self-talk’) and replace these with positive and affirmative thoughts and beliefs that embody your new sense of personal responsibility and your fresh ‘can do’ attitude

You will notice that both steps 2 and 3 use the word ‘practise‘ - this is deliberate. It is very important that when we start on the path to improving our lives we accept that it won’t always be an easy ride . There is some truth in the expression, ‘practise makes perfect’ but that said, the pressure to be perfect is often unrealistic and even debilitating in many areas of life. In practising our new thought and behaviour patterns, we need to aim for a steady and sustained improvement instead. Of course we must also strive to avoid using the fact that we are ‘only practising’ as an excuse for not making progress.

It bears repeating that taking responsibility for our own decisions in life is the single most important step towards creating the future we desire. Whilst it may at first seem a trivial and simplistic change in perspective, the effects of even this one step can be quite profound in changing our experience of life. Throughout these chapters I will attempt to provide information on other key ways to trigger long-lasting positive changes in our lives once the reality is accepted that we can decide to create the life we desire.

As ever, the theory is all well and good, but ‘the proof of the pudding is in the eating’. It’s getting out there and applying this learning to our lives that will really make the difference:

“The learning is in the living”.

My question to you, then, is - are you prepared to take responsibility for your own life?

The choice is yours, but always remember…

“If you don’t run your own life, someone else will” (John Atkinson)

The Best Way To Learn

Posted by admin in Success Strategies

One of the most important rules in life is never to take things at face value. That is, do not adhere blindly to everything that your boss, professor, agent or even parents say!

In this day and age where information is easily accessible, it is of greater importance that we learn how to assimilate the information we acquired. The key is to absorb information, with prudence.

Firstly, there is only that much that one knows. Whatever a person tells you about a subject, there is surely someone out there who knows more than him and someone who knows less. It is rather unlikely, if not inconceivable, that you would get to know someone who knows everything more than everyone else. There is a limit to what a person knows.

The knowledge that one acquires, might be through personal experience and involvement. As time goes by, a certain set of values and attitudes might be ingrained in him such that he feels strongly for. As a result, the knowledge that he has might be more applicable for his context and has a higher degree of relevance to him. His level of comprehension would rely significantly on his own perceived experience. For instance, a way that he finds useful for solving problems might not be necessarily your preferred approach or even work for you.

Back home, parents with well-meaning intentions, by offering their own set of solutions to your existing problems might not always be the best way. Certain things might have worked well for them in the past which got them to where they were, but in this fast changing world, the only constant that we have now is change. On average, more than half the knowledge that were taught to university students in their first year gets outdated two years after they graduate. We can no longer rely on traditional methods to solve existing problems. Being adaptable and flexible in our approach to new situations is an added advantage in order to keep abreast of changes.

In the corporate setting, the most practical way for an individual is to be introspective enough to realize that one will never have all the answers and that the counsel of others within the organization is vital as well. Often, success in an organizational context emerges from a complex interplay of the various resources with the external environment. While the leader or manager may be a significant component, it is dangerous for everyone to always adhere to what they advocate. There is also the potential danger of Hubris manifesting within the leader which is categorized by exaggerated pride and self-confidence that may be detrimental to the organization’s objectives. Therefore, the best way to learn and work within most organization is to establish cultural norms that encourage membership to disagree without being disagreeable. “Groupthink” may do good for situations that require immediate decisions but not necessary so in the long run. To combat the limitations of groupthink, the organization could be composed of members with diverse backgrounds as well as functional areas. But this alone may not be sufficient. Members must also have the integrity and courage to argue for alternatives that differ from those desired by the senior executives.

Secondly, there is only that much that someone would tell you. Let’s assume we have someone who is at the top of his industry. He could be the chief engineer, top lawyer or a renowned doctor. Do their words necessary hold more weight than others every single time?

Remember, there are people out there who would tell you only what they want you to hear. Like it or not, most humans have an agenda to what they are doing. Even if they don’t, these people might be limited by possible time constraints to share the whole complete picture with you, as much as they might want to. They could only explain the general situation to you at best.

Just like in law, there are always exceptions to every rule. What they advise you to do, might apply only to the general situation, but it might not always be the case. If possible, do seek a second opinion to prevent any possible biasness from just a single source and increase the reliability of the information.

To sum it all up, I would end off with a quote given by William Saroyan- ‘Every man in the world is better than someone and not as good as someone else.’ Be always open to new information from different sources on the same subject matter and allow prudence, to direct you whether these new knowledge should be absorbed or done away with.

Bill Gates: Why He is the Richest Man in the World

Posted by admin in Success Strategies

Bill is a man for the people, of the people and with the people every step of the way to make ours a better, more equipped society and environment in every sense of the formulation. His formula and future ideal goal was simple: “A paperless society”. By advancing technology, saving our natural resources and promoting self employment, Bill Gates has not only made billions of dollars he has saved our economy billions of dollars and has helped save our bountiful and beautiful forests our vegetation. His vision was on target where he stated: most Americans by the year 2000 will have the opportunity to Work from Home”. With the demise of big business and huge corporate scandals, those who invested in themselves and their real estate have profited ten fold.

Someday newspapers will be obsolete. Newspapers have monopolized our communities with serious inflated costs and are rapidly exhausting our resources. While legislature and paper manufactures raise the costs of the paper protecting our planet and try making it difficult to purchase, while on the other hand-the paper passes the expense of killing our environment on to you, the consumer. There is no win win. Only Negative’s. Who wants that? Its quite depressing and frustrating for those new in business with limited budgets trying to get their company name out there. The Internet allows you for pennies on the dollar and even for free to reach the masses. Today more and more companies are downsizing. You are probably familiar with the robot at the other end of the telephone line helping you pay your bills, access your banking, and so on. Mr. & Mrs. Robot can do virtually anything. Customer Service Employment may be the next to become obsolete(saving companies billions). More people go to their computers to research information. They are also “searching” for ways to make money in a massive growing world with massive lay-offs, downsizing’s, and major lack of employment opportunities, facing our work force, today.

Bill Gates is one of the main forefathers who helped open the door leading to: Freedom. I.e.: The Information Highway; World Wide Web, the Internet; to all societies, worldwide. He has a very simple but strong belief: How you gather, manage, and use information will determine if you win or lose. In his book Business @The Speed of Thought gives you the information you need to win. Literally, he opened the Gates to everyone. Freedom of speech is great but freedom to connect to the world is an amazing feat. Success By Performing Without An Audience - Is Anyone Listening?

Posted by admin in Success Strategies

To achieve success it can be important to keep going even if no one seems to be appreciating or even noticing what you are doing. Some people are not appreciated until after they have passed on into the next life. Hopefully, it won’t take that long for the rest of us.

“A Night To Remember” is a 1958 film which tells the story of the sinking of the Titanic in a powerful and moving way.
It stars Kenneth More as the dedicated officer who does his duty in putting women and children only into the life boats as the Titanic starts to sink and then manages to save a group of men who were amongst the last survivors.

As the boat is sinking, a legendary act of heroism takes place. The musicians keep playing on deck rather than taking care of their own survival.

One of them says “What’s the use? No one is listening.”
Another comments “Well, no one is listening when we play at meals.”

Even the Beatles must have thought no one was listening. In 1962, four years after the Titanic film was made, Decca recording turned them down:

“We don’t like their sound, and guitar music is on the way out.”

Obviously in both stories someone was listening. Both the musicians on the Titanic and the Beatles became legends.
Many people go through times when they feel no one is listening and they are wasting their time. However, if they keep going, they may just become legends too.

Any kind of performance usually involves the homework and the boring practice sessions when no one is watching or listening.

Those who can keep motivated during these practice sessions will usually get their reward when the audience finally arrive and they put in an astonishing performance.

As the film “A Night To Remember” nears its end, the lead violinist tells the musicians:

“It’s the end, boys, we’ve done our duty. We can go now.”

The musicians start to leave but the lead violinist starts playing on his own: “Nearer my God to thee.”

The others rejoin him and one of them starts singing the hymn.
The sound reaches the survivors in the life boats.

Whether things happened the way the film shows does not really matter. The lesson is the same. Keep taking action; keep praying or visualizing a great future.

The universe is quite probably taking note of your efforts and thoughts and will respond in its own good time. What you are doing will make some kind of a difference. Someone is noticing. Someone is listening.

The Art of Making a Decision

Posted by admin in Success Strategies

If someone asked you to tell them how to make a decision, you would probably come up with some good advice. It might be something like this:

  1. List the options

  2. Consider the pros and cons of each option

  3. With steps 1 and 2 in mind, apply reason and experience to make the decision

Now answer this question: how often do you make decisions using this same advice? Following a structured plan is the first step to improve decision making. However, if you’re like most people, you keep that structured plan stuck in a nice, secluded area in your mind.

You use the plan only when something triggers a warning to get serious. For instance, if a bad decision would cost you money or prestige, you might be inclined to pull out the plan and use it. Your mind may label some areas of your work as “research required,” and that may also push you into a structured decision.

With these few exceptions, most decisions are produced in our unconscious. We just grab a convenient intuition and hope that it works.

Intuitions have an especially interesting role in decisions. When we don’t have time to make careful decisions, we have to rely on intuitions; but, we ought to understand what we’re dealing with.

Intuitions come from our accumulated knowledge and wisdom. They also come from our accumulated biases and outmoded beliefs. Obviously, the more knowledge and fewer biases and outmoded beliefs you store in your brain, the better your intuitions will be. Unfortunately, intuitions still have a great weakness: they don’t come with a list of pro/con statements, the kind you use in structured decisions. Without that list there is no ready way to examine the quality of an intuition.

In general, you’ll make consistently better decisions when you base them on a careful, structured approach. If it’s well constructed, the structure makes you consider options that are new and unfamiliar. In a dynamically changing world, you need to look beyond your experience, maybe even beyond your comfort zone to find answers.

But don’t reject intuitions entirely; they actually work well with structured decisions. When your information is just too tangled to unravel, intuitions help you find conclusions so that you can move on. When you’ve evaluated your options and remain uncertain, intuition can give you the confidence to go ahead and make the decision.

I like the phrase, “informed decisions,” when considering the partnership between structured decisions and intuition. The problem with the classic, structured decision that we started with is that it implies that the answer lies within the structure. Actually, a good structure of cutting edge knowledge and reason can get you close to the answer, but to make the decision, you’ll need some intuition.

What Is It That You Are Waiting For?

Posted by admin in Success Strategies

How many times have you intended to accomplish a task that you decided to put off until tomorrow and never seemed to get around to doing?

Have you ever made a statement regarding a goal or ambition that you had for yourself such as One of thee days Im going to and one of these days hasnt yet arrived?

Have you ever experienced that little voice in your head saying something like, Write that book, or Start that business, or Help that person, and you told yourself that one day you would, but today you have Just too much going on?

If so, dont feel alone. Many in our busy world of hustle and bustle, seemingly overwhelming responsibilities, “too much to do and too little time to do it”, and “too many bills and not enough money”, experience this same situation on a regular basis.

But just because many experience it, certainly doesnt make it right, does it?

Many experience not having enough funds to pay the mortgage, utilities, put food on the table, and clothing on their backs from month to month. Many experience a day to day grind at a job that they despise, waking to feelings of dread each morning, forcing themselves out of bed to fulfill yet another day of just getting by, convincing themselves and believing Thats just the way life is. Far to many experience overwhelming fear and anxiety of what tomorrow might bring to them in the way of financial problems, health issues, and an array of other energy draining possibilities.

Yes, as sad as it is, its true that the majority dont live lives of fulfillment, inner peace, and joy on a day to day basis, and cant seem to ever quite reach the level of experiencing the life that they dream about, long for, and were created to enjoy.

Its true that the majority spend so much time making a living that they fail to make a life, and end up in their senior years thinking about all they meant to do but “Never got around to”, anticipating and wishing that it were the last day of the month so they could receive their meager social security check. Its sadly true that 95% of the U.S. population enter the “golden years” without any type of financial security thinking about what they meant to do, but never got around to, wishing they had done something different and perceiving it to be too late.

So, just because the majority does it that way doesnt mean that its Ok, does it?

Just because the majority experiences this type of life, doesnt mean that it was meant to be that way, does it?

Could it be that traditional teaching and self limiting beliefs passed down from generation to generation has the majority of the population thinking and believing that this type of predicament is normal? Is it possible that this situation has evolved due to people forming the same beliefs, taking the exact same steps, and following the same path that the majority has taken?

I believe that is exactly the reason. I also believe that there are steps that can be taken which will allow you to experience the life of the minority, rather than being held hostage to a life of unfulfilled hopes, dreams, and ambitions. I believe that there is something that can be done to assist those that are willing and open to discover and take steps that the majority either refuses to take or arent aware that exist, and are their choice to take.

In fact I know it!

Now, what can you do to make sure that you dont fall into the majority category? What immediate steps can you take to increase your odds of not falling into this same predicament as the masses?

Many situations vary depending on each individuals circumstance, but there are specific steps that can be taken immediately to assist you in attaining your most sought after dreams and ambitions regardless of where you currently find yourself. There are physical steps that you can begin to take right now that will dramatically increase your odds of realizing, achieving, and experiencing the life that you were put here to experience. There is a mindset that you can place yourself into that will greatly increase the odds of your not falling into the I wish I would have category.

What are they?

Heres the condensed version

Go Within And Discover your Passion or Purpose

If you dont have a clearly defined goal or even a hint concerning what you would like to accomplish, take 10-15 minutes a day to get by yourself, away from any distractions and quiet your mind. Search within and really dig for any hint of what might inspire you to take action toward a task, goal, or passion that your little inner voice has been prodding you to do. If nothing comes to mind ask yourself these questions and be completely honest with yourself.

1. What are you afraid of admitting?
2. What is it that you love about yourself?
3. What passion, desire, interest do you keep buried or hidden?
4. What would you do if you knew you could not fail?
5. What would you do if you were financially secure and money were not a concern?
6. What would you look back on and regret not having done if you were dying?

Have you come up with a few possibilities? Is it something that you feel truly passionate about? Great Lets Move On.

Allow Yourself To Be There

Allow yourself a few minutes to ponder on what it would be like to actually be experiencing whatever it is that you came up with. Really let yourself go and allow yourself to see the end result of your endeavor. Allow yourself to feel what it will feel like, see what it will look like, and hear what it will sound like to reach that place.

Be Thankful For Receiving It

Are your emotions stirred? Great, thats exactly where you want to be. Now thank God, or your Higher Power, the Universe, or whatever you perceive it to be for receiving what you envisioned. Express sincere gratitude for attaining whatever your desire is.

Take Baby Steps

Now, its time to take action as thoughts, emotions, feelings and situations arise that are in alignment with what it is that you are working toward.

When they arise, take some form of action as they arise or as soon as you possibly can. Avoid putting off till tomorrow what can be done right now. Skip a TV show if you have to. Replace the normal time you spend absorbing the negativity of the front page news with working toward your desire. Make time each day and begin to take baby steps toward realizing your dream.

Be Persistent

Make it a habit to do some small thing each day that will contribute to accomplishing your desired outcome, regardless of how petty it may seem. Allow as much time as possible to accomplish as much as possible, but do something to bring you one step closer. Do it every day. Every day

Be Kind To Yourself

If for whatever reason you do miss a day, dont beat yourself up. Forgive yourself and get back on track. Tomorrows gone and today is another opportunity to move one step closer. Be here now. Forget about yesterday and dont worry about tomorrow. Do something right now!

There you have it. Make the above steps a daily part of your routine and you will be moving in the direction of fulfilling your desires, whatever they might be.

Develop the discipline to do something each day, regardless of how petty it may seem. Take the time to experience the outcome. Be thankful for the outcome. Take one small step every day. Be persistent. Be kind to yourself. Develop a prosperity mindset.

Your dreams, desires and passions are attainable and are waiting for you to discover them.

Begin it now. Dont allow the meaningless and petty things in life to keep you from unveiling, discovering and enjoying the important things. Let go of what happened yesterday and stop worrying about what might happen in the future. Tomorrow will be here sooner than you think. Do something now that will allow you to experience and enjoy it.

Dont allow yourself to fall into the mindset of the majority waiting and thinking that you might be the 1 in 50,000,000 that hits the big lottery. Dont wait for the day that you feel a little more like it or when the kids are a little older or when the weather gets a little nicer.

Develop the mindset that you can, and do it Right Now!

Ill close with one of my all time favorite quotes

“Do not let your fire go out, spark by irreplaceable spark, in the hopeless swamps of the approximate, the not quite, the not yet, the not at all. Do not let the hero in your soul perish, in lonely frustration for the life you deserved, but have never been able to reach. Check your road and the nature of your battle. The world you desired can be won. It exists, it is real, it is possible, it is yours.” -Ayn Rand

Begin today to take action. Do something right now that will allow you to be one step closer to living and enjoying your life the way that you were intended to.

Begin Right Now to discover the truth, that you were intended to experience a life of Joy, Inner Peace, and Fulfillment.

Seek the answers that prove you were created to live a life of Abundance and Happiness.

Personal Sustainability-Daring to Transform

Posted by admin in Success Strategies

With the growing awareness of environmental sustainability and living ‘green’, attention is primarily focused on product purchases, conscious energy use, food choices, toxic-free living and more. Consider expanding the idea of sustainability further to include inner sustainability. What is meant by this is being conscious of where and how you spend your energy, time and also m*on*ey. I’ve had clients tell me “I sure wasted my time and energy worrying about that.” Your energy and time are valuable resources. In this day and age, you are pulled in so many directions- there are lots of bright shiny objects out there and there are lots of shoulds from other people - that care in making decisions for your highest good is vital. Sometimes those decisions will make others uncomfortable because you’re not fitting in with their idea or expectation of how and what you “should” be or do. There’s also fear of change and not knowing how your change will affect others or even your current lifestyle.

What fills your well? What are you doing to recharge your batteries? These are questions I often ask clients when I hear how they are doing this for that person and that for this other person. What are you doing to sustain your energetic core so that you can create what matters to you? I hear those whispers of ‘yeah but that’s selfish’ or the even tinier mouthing of ‘I don’t deserve to think of me” or ‘if I set aside time for myself that’s not being productive’. Long ago a very wise person told me that if I don’t take care of me then who else would. James Rohn offered this thought especially in regards to families and couples, “I take care of me for you and you take care of you for me”. It’s something to think about.

In making decisions on where to spend your time, energy and money, look at how that decision is in alignment with what is really important to you and if it is coherent with your values. One of the keys to living a passionate life is to be integrity with your self. When decisions are made with this in mind, there is more energy generated because your heart and soul are being fed versus being in an energy draining situation.

So what to do? There are actually 3 simple steps to start to transform your life for more personal sustainability.

1. Knowledge: find what works for you; seek out strategies that resonate with you read articles on creating a better mindset to gain confidence in making conscious choices. Determine what are you most passionate about and what your values are.

2. Apply: begin to initiate rituals and creative habits that feed your soul and sustain you through the bumps and glitches of the day.

3. Practice: the most challenging; to change mindsets it takes a 21 day practice commitment and then some. Be creative and authentic. Seek support.

Personal sustainability starts with one step, one practice and one commitment at a time.
Are you not worth nourishing your personal sustainability?

What creative habits can you put in place that will sustain your energetic core so that you can create what matters to you?

Success Begins and Ends With You

Posted by admin in Success Strategies

Success is a word that is much used in our society. We probably hear it at least once each day, especially in commercials. It could be said that many of us are spending so much time concerned about success that we do not set things in motion to achieve our own success. One thing is apparent to me, and that is that each individual must determine what success means in their own lives. Those who go through life trying to achieve so-called success by someone’s standards or by the advertising industry’s standards will always fall short of feeling successful.

Most modern dictionaries define success as a degree or measure of achievement or as a favorable or desired outcome.

You must decide what you want that favorable or desirable outcome to be in every area of your life. This is especially true with your business. To be ’successful’ in your business marketing efforts you must set, realistic, obtainable goals. You must measure your success by how close you come to achieving the goals you set for yourself based on your abilities and skills.

In successfully marketing your online business you must be willing to invest the time it takes to research and learn all you can about the marketplace. You must not believe the hype, the overblown promises of immediate success. The truth is, most overnight successes were months or years in the making.

Fortunately, many of the online marketing professionals (or gurus) are willing to share their experiences and allow novices to benefit from their experience.

How You Can Improve Your Self Belief Until You Are Primed For Super Success No Holds Barred!

Posted by admin in Success Strategies

You did it again! You bombed. Maybe you went to a job interview, maybe it was an evening out with the person of your dreams, maybe it was an online venture, or a stock market speculation. But it went wrong, even though you had your hopes pinned on this opportunity!

Where does the fine line between success and total failure really lie? Or is there a yawning chasm between the two? Can you turn failure on its heels and drag success from under the stock pile of your disappointment?

Well, I say, YES YOU CAN! And it really is a thin line indeed. Are you one of those people who feel elated one moment and then, later on in the day, feel totally distraught? Some bad news unsettles you perhaps? I am just like that! But I reason with my anxious inner nature and probe to find a deeper calm. See yourself as a winner and turn those heartaches to triumph for your self!

Ride above the mundane. Consider your priorities. In the job interview, did you concentrate on looking good, on coming across as upbeat, positive, eager, experienced? Were you focused on the impression you made? Suppose instead that you felt a deep inner conviction that it would be the firm’s greatest good to hire you because…think about the strengths of this firm, their weaknesses. Are you the link? Do you want to be? What can you offer that will build more trade, stronger customer rapport, all round better business? Focus on how you will strengthen the business strategies of the firm for which you apply, and forget to trouble about your hair, your tie, your shoes. Have a deep inner conviction in your abilities. Know you can!

It is perfectly normal to be nervous at the interview, since only you know how you best face up to nerves. But if you know you have something to offer this company that gives you an edge over other applicants then stand confident and focus on the increased business you will bring about. Napoleon Hill gave some excellent advice when he said “act as if you own the company.” This will help you to see the strengths and weaknesses of the company as though your were chairman, or a senior manager. Act it, become it.

I say this again: ACT IT, BECOME IT!

Think about it, what stands between you, the unconfident date, and you the successful lover? The way you act! So act just exactly as you believe the confident person would behave in the situation, and appear to have complete conviction that this is really YOU, this is how you are. You will begin to believe in yourself! And so will your partner.

As I see it, the startling difference about the confident person, who generally, in time, becomes the successful person, is this: the confident person has a deep inner conviction that they cannot fail. The person who hesitates, who fumbles, whose doubts nag at the mind and gnaw at the heart, that person is lost before they start. So from now on, try going with what you feel comfortable with. What you know in your heart you can do, well! It will make a world of difference: you don’t need to be always pushing out the boat!

If you feel happy with one thing, do that. You’ll find your level in time. But avoid the situations where you feel achingly nervous, because after a few of these experiences, that’s how you see yourself. If you feel nervous, it is because you are out of your depth. Just dare a tiny step at a time, if you must dare at all; soon you will be a confident character whom others look up to. And interestingly, it is the quietly confident person who exudes “authority” is it not? So focus on your strengths, your likes, not your dislikes, do what you most enjoy and let Life pass you by for a while. Chances are, during this time of learning to accept yourself, there’s someone watching you, weighing the balance: could you be the person to step up to middle management, or to lead this new project, or go on that course?

The opportunities come to you in the quiet reflective times in Life, you simply do not have to chase after new positions as if you were chasing butterflies! If you are good at a task, someone will notice, and reward you with a position of more responsibility. It is just like when you were a child. You may have said “I want to grow 4 inches tonight!” but chances are, you had to wait your time!

That is how Life goes, a quiet stream flowing relentlessly onward, sometimes placid, sometimes hitting the rapids and shooting forward with unbridled energy. You don’t have to push yourself forward! Aim to build a reflective side to your character, let things take their course. It is a grand feeling to believe you won through, but in reality was there any need? I like to be quietly reflective, serene and unruffled by the day’s events. Fate will move its charted course with no prompting from you!

Now, in no way do I suggest you should take on the attitude which says “Oh, what is the use?” That is despondency. Count on the parts of your character that never give way under pressure: that is the real you! If you have a hasty temper, worry not, you can improve the length of your patience with a little effort every day to forgive a little further than you have done in the past. Does it really matter? Or is it just your ego being bruised? Egos are like fingernails, they need constant filing! When your offended ego rears its ugly head, take no offence, but instead take a moment or two to work on your self. Walk away from the scene or apologize, even when it is clearly not your fault! I have always found this heals a rift and builds new bridges more effectively than any other reaction.

A person will find a deep respect for you when you own yourself in the wrong - after all, we all know how difficult that is! It is human nature to say hurriedly “It was not my fault! You were to blame!” Rather as Eve or Adam reacted in the Garden! We can cloak our raw personalities with grace, however and start anew! What harm does it you to back off? Turn the other cheek? It makes you stronger within, more confident in yourself, more aware of the emotional needs of others, much more likable!

I find I can get along with near anyone if I can only find some common ground, if I climb inside their outlook and empathize with their point of view, even if it clashes with my own: after all, it is possible I may not always be right! I subtly try to command the others respect whilst at the same time building rapport with some conviction we may both hold in common. After all, surely you can’t differ from that person in ALL respects? You must think alike on at least some level! Work on building your intuition and being very aware of how the other person is likely feeling in the situation - then you won’t tread on so many toes as you stumble through Life.

And the day will fast arrive where you stumble no longer, but walk always calmly, serenely, confidently, for you have worked on the one thing Fate allows: your self! There is never room for two egos. Dispense with yours today! It does nothing for you and you have no need of it, and believe me, you won’t miss your ego, but be glad without it! Who are you that you must always feel so important? Learn to laugh at yourself and you’ll soon be very popular! And your new Life will begin: once you take the trouble to admit it could be your fault everything seems to go wrong, then suddenly everything goes right. And in a time of trouble you will have many supporters, and that quiet inner conviction you know yourself!

Life appears to be a great challenge but the truth lies nearer home: tempering your self is the challenge. Achieve that self mastery and you will lead all who are still blaming one another! There are many words of wisdom you will enjoy in the Book of Proverbs in the middle of the Bible. There 31 chapters, one for every day of the month! Who knows, perhaps the ancient people knew something of human nature? For these words have stood the test of Time! Begin today!

Technology and opinion may change from hour to hour but human nature remains the same: a wild unbroken horse to be bridled! Control first your inner nature and your reactions and you will control all that is possible in your Life. No longer will you find yourself in a nervous situation, for you will always be quietly confident in yourself. And things will improve, and move ahead for you, as sure as a child grows to become an adult. Believe in yourself: begin today!
